Orks: Wazbom Blastajet is a heavily armed flying machine packed with unstable weapons, crude technology and the unmistakable mechanical character of an Ork aircraft.

Product description
Take control of the skies with the Wazbom Blastajet, a screaming airborne weapons platform created by Ork Meks with little concern for safety, reliability or aerodynamic sense.

The aircraft combines exposed engines, mismatched armour plates, oversized weapons and numerous mechanical additions into a distinctive model that looks fast, dangerous and only barely under control.

This versatile plastic kit can be assembled as one of four Ork aircraft: a Wazbom Blastajet, Dakkajet, Burna-Bommer or Blitza-Bommer. The four variants share the main aircraft components, so only one complete model can be built from the box.

Wazbom Blastajet
The Wazbom Blastajet is an experimental Ork aircraft covered with powerful energy weapons and unusual Mek technology.

It can be fitted with a kustom mega-kannon or tellyport mega-blasta, together with an underslung smasha gun and additional systems mounted around the fuselage.

A stikkbomb flinga can be added to reinforce the aircraft's aggressive appearance, while the alternative kustom force field components represent the unpredictable defensive inventions of its Mek pilot.

The gitbusta turret adds another weapon position to the already crowded aircraft, completing the appearance of a flying machine built around the Ork belief that more guns are always better.

Four possible Ork aircraft
The same kit can alternatively be assembled as a Dakkajet, Burna-Bommer or Blitza-Bommer.

The Dakkajet represents a fast fighter covered in rapid-firing guns, while the Burna-Bommer carries incendiary weapons intended to spread destruction across enemy positions.

The Blitza-Bommer uses a different arrangement of bombs, weapons and aircraft components to create a dedicated Ork attack bomber.

Each configuration has a distinctive silhouette and equipment layout, but the variants use shared hull, wing and mechanical components.

Unmistakable Ork engineering
The aircraft features riveted armour, exposed machinery, irregular wing panels, oversized exhausts and crude repairs.

Rather than displaying the smooth and carefully engineered surfaces of more advanced factions, the Blastajet looks as though it has been assembled from scavenged aircraft sections, spare weapons and whatever components happened to be available.

This chaotic construction gives the model excellent conversion potential and makes additional armour plates, glyphs, cables and weapon parts look entirely appropriate.

Dynamic flying display
The included flying stem and large oval base allow the aircraft to be displayed above the battlefield.

The model can be positioned to suggest a fast attack run, a sharp turn or a reckless dive towards an enemy formation.

The 120mm x 92mm oval base also provides space for scenic details such as ruins, smoke, wreckage, dust clouds or unfortunate enemy infantry beneath the aircraft.

Detailed painting project
The Wazbom Blastajet offers a huge variety of mechanical surfaces, including armour panels, engines, weapons, exhausts, cables and exposed internal components.

It is ideal for painting chipped Clan colours, rusty metal, soot, oil stains, scorch marks, energy effects and improvised repairs.

Individual armour panels can be painted in different colours to emphasise the scavenged construction, while Ork checks, flames and glyphs can be added throughout the aircraft.

Background
Wazbom Blastajets are experimental flying machines constructed by Ork Meks who combine powerful weapons with unstable technologies that more cautious engineers would never allow near an aircraft.

The machines roar across the battlefield while firing beams of destructive energy, launching explosives and generating unpredictable effects from their various Mek-built systems.

Ork pilots value speed, noise and firepower far more than reliability. A Wazbom Blastajet therefore represents both an extremely dangerous weapon and a serious threat to the greenskins operating it.
