Tyranids: Hive Guard is a versatile miniature kit that builds three heavily armoured ranged organisms or three powerful Tyrant Guard protectors.

Product description
Add three formidable bioforms to your Tyranids collection. Hive Guard are heavily armoured gun-beasts created to protect the vital biological structures of a Tyranid invasion.

Each Hive Guard is bonded to a powerful symbiotic weapon and can be equipped with either an impaler cannon or a shockcannon. The kit includes enough weapons to arm the entire unit with the same option.

The impaler cannons create the appearance of massive organic projectile weapons, while the shockcannons feature a different biological design suited to collectors seeking a more unusual ranged configuration.

Alternative Tyrant Guard build
The same components can alternatively be used to assemble three Tyrant Guard. These heavily armoured creatures are bred to protect the most important leader organisms of the Hive Mind.

Tyrant Guard can be equipped with crushing claws, scything talons, or a bone sword and lash whip. These options provide several different close-combat appearances for the completed brood.

The Hive Guard and Tyrant Guard are alternative builds of the same kit and cannot both be assembled from one box without additional components.

Extensive customisation
The heads, bodies, tails, legs, arms and weapons are interchangeable across the three miniatures.

This allows you to vary the poses and biological details of the completed organisms, creating a brood in which every creature has its own silhouette.

Detailed organic design
The miniatures feature thick carapace plates, powerful limbs, broad bodies, exposed biological structures and weapons grown directly into their anatomy.

These surfaces provide excellent opportunities for contrasting skin and chitin colours, organic weapon effects, battle damage and custom Hive Fleet markings.

Background
Hive Guard are specialised Tyranid organisms created to protect Hive Ships, capillary towers and other vital structures used during the consumption of a conquered world.

They remain close to these biological installations until intruders enter the range of their symbiotic weapons, at which point they unleash devastating volleys upon the enemy.

Tyrant Guard serve a different purpose. Their heavily armoured bodies are bred to shield powerful leader organisms and destroy any enemy that manages to approach them.
