Tyranids: Lictor is a highly customisable ambush predator designed to stalk enemy positions and strike suddenly from the shadows.

Product description
Add a fearsome Tyranid hunter to your Warhammer 40,000 collection. The Lictor is a specialised infiltration organism equipped with long mantis-like talons, powerful claws and sensory feeder tendrils.

Its elongated limbs and predatory anatomy allow it to move through ruins, dense terrain and vertical surfaces before launching a sudden attack against isolated prey.

The miniature can be assembled in several dramatically different poses, making it possible to create a Lictor that appears to be stalking, preparing to pounce or looming upright over the battlefield.

Extensive pose customisation
The kit includes interchangeable legs, clawed arms and scenic basing elements that can be combined to create different stances.

You can build the Lictor in a low, hunched stalking pose, brace it for a sudden leap, or assemble it standing upright in a more imposing position.

Adjustable joints in the neck and scything talons allow the direction of the head and limbs to be refined further.

The bladed sections of its arms can also be extended or retracted, offering additional control over the silhouette of the finished miniature.

Alternative head options
Two different heads are included in the kit.

One features long feeder tendrils trailing beneath the creature's face, while the other displays an aggressively flared tendril membrane.

These options allow you to choose between a stealthy hunting appearance and a more threatening attack pose.

Detailed organic design
The miniature features layered chitin, exposed musculature, hooked claws, mantis-like talons, feeder tendrils and a long segmented tail.

The varied biological textures provide excellent opportunities for camouflage patterns, contrasting skin and carapace colours, organic shading and custom Hive Fleet markings.

The scenic basing pieces can also be painted with ruins, vegetation or Tyranid growths to reinforce the creature's ambush theme.

Background
Lictors are specialised Tyranid organisms created to infiltrate enemy territory ahead of the main swarm.

They move silently through ruins and wilderness, observing defensive positions and identifying valuable prey before striking without warning.

Their feeder tendrils allow them to consume biological information from their victims, providing the Hive Mind with memories and knowledge taken directly from enemy organisms.

Once the Lictor has completed its task, it disappears back into concealment or continues hunting until the advancing Tyranid swarm arrives.
