Tyranids: Tyrannofex is a massive living weapons platform that combines thick biological armour with some of the most imposing ranged biomorphs available to a Tyranid swarm.

Product description
Add a towering monstrous creature to your Tyranids collection. The Tyrannofex advances on four powerful limbs beneath layers of reinforced chitin, carrying an enormous organic weapon grown directly into its body.

The model features a heavily armoured carapace with raised biological chimneys, a long segmented tail and a grotesque underside dominated by its chosen weapon organism.

The kit can alternatively be assembled as a Tervigon, creating a very different Tyranid creature designed around a swollen spawning chamber and the production of smaller organisms.

Tyrannofex weapon options
The Tyrannofex can be equipped with a fleshborer hive, representing a living nest filled with countless smaller organisms ready to be launched at the enemy.

The rupture cannon creates the appearance of a colossal biological artillery weapon supported by the Tyrannofex's massive frame.

The acid spray offers a third distinctive build, featuring a large organic weapon adapted to cover nearby enemies in corrosive biological fluids.

These alternative weapon configurations allow the completed model to be given a very different silhouette and visual character.

Alternative Tervigon build
The same components can instead be used to assemble one Tervigon. This alternative form features a large spawning chamber and emerging Termagant details beneath its body.

The Tervigon build transforms the heavily armed Tyrannofex design into a brood-producing creature that visually represents the endless reproductive power of the Tyranid swarm.

The Tyrannofex and Tervigon are alternative builds of the same kit and cannot both be assembled from one box without additional components.

Detailed organic design
The miniature combines broad chitin plates, exposed biological structures, muscular limbs, hooves, sharp talons and a long segmented tail.

Its large surfaces provide excellent opportunities for Hive Fleet colour schemes, carapace patterns, organic shading, weapon effects and detailed biological textures.

The model's imposing size also makes it a striking centrepiece for a Tyranids army or display collection.

Background
Tyrannofexes are immense living weapons platforms created by the Hive Mind to advance through overwhelming enemy fire and destroy heavily defended targets.

Their bodies are protected by thick layers of reinforced chitin, while much of their internal structure is dedicated to supporting enormous biological weapons.

Tervigons are specialised brood organisms whose swollen bodies contain developing Termagants. They advance with the swarm while producing new creatures to replace losses and overwhelm enemy positions.

Both forms demonstrate the ability of the Hive Mind to adapt a single biological foundation for entirely different purposes.
