Tyranids: Venomthropes is a versatile multipart kit that can be assembled as toxic Venomthropes, psychic Zoanthropes, or a combination including a Neurothrope.

Product description
Add three highly distinctive organisms to your Tyranids collection. Venomthropes drift above the battlefield surrounded by clouds of toxic spores, while their long tentacles lash outward to strike and entangle nearby prey.

Each Venomthrope is armed with toxic lashes and can be customised using a selection of heads and interchangeable tentacle arms. The varied components allow the three creatures to be given individual poses while maintaining a unified biological appearance.

The same components can alternatively be used to assemble three Zoanthropes, or two Zoanthropes accompanied by a Neurothrope.

Alternative builds
Venomthropes feature elongated bodies, hanging tendrils and organic chimneys that release clouds of dangerous spores. Their floating silhouettes and numerous tentacles give them a distinctive appearance within a Tyranid swarm.

Zoanthropes replace the toxic tendrils with enlarged cranial structures and powerful psychic anatomy. Their oversized heads and hovering forms create an entirely different visual character from the Venomthrope build.

A Neurothrope may be assembled alongside two Zoanthropes, providing an additional leader-style variation with its own distinctive head and biological details.

Customisation options
The Venomthrope build includes three different heads as well as three different left and right tentacle arms.

These parts allow you to vary the direction and arrangement of the tentacles across the unit, creating a brood in which every organism has its own pose.

Detailed organic design
The kit features layered chitin, exposed musculature, floating tails, toxin-producing vents, psychic structures and long biological tendrils.

These contrasting surfaces provide excellent opportunities for custom Hive Fleet colour schemes, glowing psychic effects, toxic fluids and detailed carapace highlights.

Background
Venomthropes are specialised Tyranid organisms surrounded by dense clouds of alien spores. Their whip-like tendrils carry potent toxins, turning the area around them into a hazardous environment for the enemies of the swarm.

Zoanthropes are psychic bioforms created to channel the power of the Hive Mind. Their bodies are dominated by enlarged cranial structures that contain the biological mechanisms required to unleash devastating psychic energy.

Both forms demonstrate the ability of the Hive Mind to adapt the same biological foundation for entirely different roles within a Tyranid invasion.
