If the being now known as Nekrosor Ammentar ever possessed another name or identity, it has been erased from history. Even the meaning of the title “Nekrosor” has been lost, buried alongside memories that appear to have been forcibly removed from the collective consciousness of the Necrons.

Some believe Ammentar was the first Necron to succumb to the Destroyer Curse and the original source from which its murderous madness spread. Others dismiss the tale as a myth born from ancient guilt and betrayal.
